Today’s video selection has been plucked from the Mornings with Madge Archives. Originally created for Reels/Shorts, I added a frame to make it full sized. It’s a bit of foofaraw and frippery, because I needed it today. I think we can all use a little humor these days, or at least distraction should this fail to amuse.
We’ve had an extended run of rainy, grey, positively Poe-esque weather here as of late and that combined with the 24/7 news media orgy of the Worst Circus Ever gearing up for another run in DC has me feeling a little heavy. Or a lot heavy, if I’m being honest.
This is all rather hard, isn’t it?
You may find this video absurd. I hope, at the very least, it takes some of the weight off of your mind for a moment.
To quote the great Willy Wonka quoting an unknown literary source:
“A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest men.”
And with that, I return you to your regularly scheduled existential angst, or your regular state of mind, whatever it may be.
