In my endless quest to understand why we’re in the pickle that we’re in and what motivates the people who have so much more than most to feel entitled to take all of it, I keep arriving at the same questions. Why do they have to have all of it and what do they think will happen if they do? It is clear they are miserable people, which is proof that money doesn’t buy happiness. Insatiable. Cruel. Manipulative. Needy. Greedy. Insecure. Unhappy. Whiny. Immature. Mediocre. Perpetually butt hurt victims of their own making. No matter how much they have (and most of them have more than anyone else has ever had in the history of humanity) it is never enough.
Can you wrap your mind around needing more than a billion dollars? Why does anyone need more than a billion dollars? It’s absurdity. Can you fathom rationalizing taking 8 million dollars a day from the American taxpayer while not paying any taxes of your own, calling other people wastrels, and STILL needing more? Not just needing more, but feeling maniacally driven to take the rest of it away from the rest of us.
Talk about entitlement.

If having the most isn’t enough, then having it all will not be enough, either. If they hate themselves, this country, this world, and the other people in it so much, why don’t they go ahead and leave?
Fly to Mars. Hide in your legless Metaverse. Slip into your secret bunkers. Float around on your sovereign seascapes. Pop on a VR headset and escape into a world where you are the Emperor of Everything and you never have to bother with anything or anyone else again. No need for Armageddon, get on up to heaven and hang out with your pal Jesus.
