Well, you know I love ALL your writing, and particularly anything artsy (go figure, hehe)... That said, my own need to engage, and share my work on several sometimes-toxic social media platforms means that I'm taking in a lot of rage-inducing content on the daily. So honestly, it just depends on the day, and whatever spoons I have at the moment for absorbing all... THIS (waves arms around wildly)... At any rate, you have a unique voice, and as much talent for writing as you do for art, so I say keep at it, and keep inspiring us all. But please take of YOU too. ♥
Margot, I enjoy your writings and even the rants but like so many people have to take a break from so much on a daily basis. These days DC is like a clogged toilet spewing out foulness like a volcano erupting. My heart aches from the sheer stupidity. So, keep writing- especially WTF Wednesday- and when I have my mask & gloves on, I will pop in to read your posts.
Honestly, even though this sounds like a line, my semi-engagement isn't you, it's me. As much as I desperately want to keep up with the shenanigans going on in this country, my brain gets to its Wet Sponge stage fairly quickly right now (too much to sop up, and I end up just smearing the mess around, which isn't good for anyone involved), and I end up kind of glazing over for days at a time.
I do love your take on things and think what you're doing is essential, just as it is, but for me...I have to take breaks or my head will probably explode into a giant cloud of WTF and glitter. <3
I am in a similar boat of sensory overload here. I totally get it! Take care of you, my friend! Real life matters most! And give that pup a snuggle from me!
He was napping amid the chaos of his latest comforter conquest, and I forced him onto my lap (kind of; he's more dog than one lap can take but I made a valiant attempt), kissed him roughly sixty-four times on his head and hugged him tight and told him this was from his Auntie Margot.
Margot, always speak your truth. There is so little of this nowadays. There is so much fear that people won't speak up. We can't be those people. We must also call out the opportunists who spew lies that keep the country and the world divided. Thank you for all you do.

Will do, and thank you! It’s warming up, we can have lunch soon! ❤️
I was just thinking that today! 🩷

I truly do enjoy your art series too.
Keep plugging away - we share your passion!
I totally get the need to step away, I am in a similar boat. It is all overwhelming. Hang in there! I’ll keep on keeping on! 😘

Thank you! I will keep speaking truth to power as long as I have a voice!
Thank you for the feedback and for joining the Lady Party! ❤️
