Love this portrait! Have a suggestion. Why not turn them into Lady Wisdom cards with quotes from each of the women you’ve created portraits of on the back? I can show you how to get them printed if you’d like. Offer them one by one (one a month?) so folks could buy and collect them like baseball cards? I can think of at least a dozen women who deserve to be quoted and have portraits done. Much more appealing tome than photos of men who play baseball ;-)
That’s a fun idea! Thank you! I was thinking of offering them as prints and maybe creating some POD products like coffee mugs and totes and cards, etc. I have POD sources, but I need buyers. That has been my challenge selling art in the past, even when I had a much larger following.
I'm struggling a lot right now. I live in a Midwestern town and worked for 25 years in our school system. Just heard yesterday that ICE has arrived in our county. Within 2 hours the had shut down a long-running family owned restaurant. What is extremely worrisome is that one of our elementary schools is 98% Latino.
Keep good thoughts headed our way. I have picked my big girl under drawers up and are signing petitions and sending letters to my senators again. And our Governor is fighting back! So, small acts but they're something.
Lynn! My friend! Every small act has impact. Keep writing those letters and holding their feet to the fire. Good on your governor! This is so much to process. Hang in there. ❤️
I hear you, Margo! I am as overwhelmed by Cheeto and his gang as every other person with a brain, but seems everyone is on a rant. It’s almost too much…but most certainly necessary. I love your writing sprinkled with a dose of humor and art. Keep it coming. Your Substack account is the equivalent of “a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down”!
I am no help in the art sales field. Gave up a long time ago. Good luck!
I think we’re all just trying to make some sense of the chaos. Thank you! For now my focus is on the writing, but the art will be sprinkled here and there! ❤️

Love your essays and your uplifting words. Your portraits are beautiful, cards would be a great, fun idea. Still moving forward and hanging in there.
Thank you, dear Bobbie! Hang in there! ❤️
