You are like a lot of us, tender hearted and such an inspiration to us all. I too have found joy in baby birds, only to lose some to faulty nesting or other marauding creatures. I value every minute I get to spend with my daughter as do you with yours. I am lucky enough to live with mine and I thank God every day, that I'm that lucky. Sparkle on my beautiful friend ❤️✨️

Life can be cruel and chaotic, but we persist! What a wonderful gift to be with your daughter. You are a lucky woman indeed. ❤️

I am in your camp. And no one explains the true effect of the empty nest syndrome.

We will always miss our babies.

And sadly, the war against the good is not imaginary.

I keep thinking it will get easier, but it doesn’t. We just keep marching bravely forward. Yes the war they’re imagining is becoming real.

Your tender heart is what makes you an inspiration! My partner and I were reminiscing about all the nests that were destroyed over the years. There was one that I kept yelling at the robin that it wasn't safe, and sure enough, a big wind came and blew it and the eggs away. I cried. I also have a tender heart.

Oh! We are kindred indeed! Tender hearts are good hearts and they can be strong hearts too. Hearts are resilient like that. 😘

I would be dead by now if my tender heart was not resilient!
