My Final Fox(es)

And Now for My Next Trick...

I have completed the never ending task of hand painting 99 anthropomorphic folk art style animal cards. Somehow, and I cannot tell you how as I counted and recounted, I ended up one card short of the planned 100. By the time I realized this, there was no fox-ing way I was going to paint another card. So there are only 32 foxes. There were 33 bears and 34 sheep. These original cards will only be available in one place in the entire universe…The Bear and Fox Yarn Den in Allegan, Michigan owned by my dear friend Drew Emborsky a.k.a. The Crochet Dude. Thus, there are a lot of yarn themed images here.

I made high resolution scans of all the fox and bear cards. I have more cropping/clean up to do if I want to use them for other things. Perhaps I could create pre-printed cards with hand applied glittered accents…or other items like mugs or t-shirts or tote bags…or maybe just chalk it up to a learning experience and carry on with my life. My past attempts at selling things have not proven to be fruitful and my former following has been lost to my social media exodus.

Any thoughts or feelings?

I’m still processing my very, very big feelings about That Bill. I have been livid for days. Spitting nails livid. I am too angry to write about it.

Meanwhile, my Senator is mad because he’s missing his beach vacation this week.

Seriously.

Flori-DUH Man and sleazy Senator Rick Scott, the largest perpetrator of Medicare Fraud in history BTW, just added an amendment which will strip even more (up to 29 million) people of Medicare.

You could not make this shit up if you tried.

Tomorrow is WTF Wednesday and we’ll see if I have any foxes left to spare.
