What say ye to FFS! Friday!? So much has happened since WTF Wednesday! The absurdities (and by absurdities we mean atrocities) are piling up at such an alarming rate, who knows what unholy hell will greet us next week?

FFS, seriously?! Timothy Snyder of On Tyranny fame (who has spent years warning us not to obey in advance) has made a break for Toronto, thus leaving me to ponder what that means for the rest of us?

In the ‘I told you so and so did a lot of people who weren’t overreacting even a little’ department, the fine folks from Election Alliance continue to dig into the data from the 2024 election and what they’re finding are serious statistical anomalies that make it increasingly clear there was an epic shit ton of fuckery afoot. I’m still mad at the Dems for rolling over and welcoming the dictator back ‘home’, because it was CLEAR as DAY that there is no freaking way he won the Popular vote and all six of the swing states by just enough votes to prevent triggering automatic recounts. It’s becoming clear that the deportations of ‘illegal’ immigrants and dismantling of the Department of Education were all in service of setting the stage for a return to the Rusty Robber Baron’s favorite era, the Gilded Age. We don’t need no edumacation, folks! Florida’s gearing up to roll back child labor protections, joining Arkansas. Get those nimble fingered children into our factories making widgets and whatnots for the profits of the idle rich. Someone has to build those iron lungs and braces after we bring polio back, baby! In case you didn’t get the memo, there’s some Benghazi-esque clustercluckery happening in Lithuania. Four U.S. soldiers are MIA after a tank they were manning during a training exercise mysteriously slipped into a peat bog. Searches have yet to provide answers to their whereabouts. The Mad King claims he knows nothing about it, which seems to be his mantra these days. He’s too busy spinning out over his latest imaginary slight and crapping up the White House to bother with the whole Commander in Chief dealio.

Hoping they find them soon, so their families can gain some clarity.

Perhaps the weekend will provide a much needed reprieve from the constant chaos.
