I think they're yellow jackets, but I haven't gone to look at them. The Hornet King is just the name of they guy we've hired in the past to remove wasp nests in the barn beneath our apartment. This isn't my farm and they're not really bothering me. It's just not a great thing to have a massive yellow jacket nest down the driveway. It's ultimately my SIL's problem, this time. Hornets are scary, apparently I was attacked by some as a toddler. Thankfully, I don't remember.
The swarming house flies are disgusting, though, and that is our problem which I have no idea how to solve. Blech.
I've been thinking/writing about starting a retail fair trade handcrafted goods business. So, that's the website, if I can get the ducks in a row. It'll probably be a moment, it's too late to get things together for this holiday season.
Alas, I don't use Meta platforms anymore, so I can't/won't watch videos there.

Sorry to hear you have flies and that the hornets are back. Won't the farmer do anything if you tell them? At the rate the Whitehouse clown is going we will all be living in cardboard boxes or dead. At the rate people are killing people, there won't be many of us left. I love the little lake cottage too, but I think the dogs need more space to romp and play. So many things to consider in my imaginary Vermont cottage dream. Ha! Mr. Potter went and looked at the running shed and it appears there is a massive nest, likely German yellow jackets inside of one of the walls. The Hornet King will be coming out early next week to wrangle them. As you know, they get a little crazy this time of year!
